KeyTREE not only conforms to BS5837: 2005 Trees in Relation to Construction, but incorporates many additional features and refinements that allow you to go beyond the functionality required by the British Standard, including:
- Display tree canopies based on North, East, South and West (NESW) information as well as 8-point NESW and even your own surveyed or drawn polylines!
- Calculation of root protection zones based on BS guidelines or by user specified, such as North, East, South and West (NESW), 8-point NESW and your own surveyed or drawn polylines!
- Import tree survey data based on collected survey information or held in your own spreadsheets and databases
- Add new tree specifications information to the drawing or modify existing data
- Record and manage Tree Preservation Order (TPO) information assigned to the trees
- Provides shadow assessment, based on your location in the world, month of the year and time of day
- Schedule the drawing using predefined or customisable schedule style templates
- Export tree schedules in standard database formats
- Coming soon: Export tree data defined in the drawing to your GIS system using a standard shape (.SHP) file format

KeySCAPE
and
KeySCAPE LT
or as a separate module for AutoCAD (not LT) users, Also, it will be available as a standalone application, KeyTREE LT, that includes its own AutoCAD engine.
