Issue:
You have uninstalled KeySCAPE DS2000FP but are prompted for the KeySCAPE DS2000FP installation CD when you run KeySCAPE for AutoCAD 2004/2005
Solution:
This is because the uninstall of the (OLD) KSDS2000FP installer leaves some information in the registry that may, in some circumstances, affect later installations of KeySCAPE.
To resolve the issue:
- Log-on as the user (The user will need to have a minimum of Power User rights to modify the registry)
- From Start>Run, type REGEDIT in the window and pick Open
- From File pick Export and make a back up of the registry
- Navigate to and delete the following registry key (folder and its sub-folders):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products\2ABCD20927846D112B7F000C8A6F555EB
- Close the registry editor
- Run KeySCAPE to complete the initialisation of KeySCAPE for the current user
- Repeat for each CAD User, as required
